I was supposed to be out and about photographing some little kids today, but the weather forecast was so bad that we decided to postpone it. Sitting here with the rain beating down on the windows I think we made the right decision! So I thought I’d take the opportunity to catch up by blogging some photos from a photoshoot I did a few weeks ago in Stormont Park in Belfast. I’m very pleased to introduce 3 year old Billy!
This was a bit of a special shoot for me, because I was photographing Billy for a charity calendar. Billy was born with a form of cerebral palsy which means he’s unable to straighten his legs. His family are trying to raise £50,000 to send him to America for a specialist operation that would allow him to walk. They’ve been holding loads of fundraising evenings and events, and are going to sell calendars with some of these images. As always with toddler photoshoots, there were a few little tantrums, but lots of giggles. Here’s a little preview of what we got up to…
