As I sit here writing this with the rain beating down on my skylight, it’s quite hard to believe the amazing run of weather we’ve had recently – definitely not a typical Northern Ireland May! I watched the changing forecast nervously as Catherine and Michael’s engagement session approached, and although the clouds were out in force, the rain thankfully stayed away. We met at the Roe Valley Country Park in Limavady, and a quick walk through the woods saw us greeted by an amazing field of bright yellow buttercups. Photographer’s heaven! I could have shot there all day.
Catherine and Michael are getting married at the Roe Park Resort at the start of September and I’m really looking forward to their wedding. I’ve promised that they won’t end up covered in buttercup pollen that day! Here is a little selection of my favourites from the shoot : )
