This time last week, I was sharing the photos from Debbie and Dave’s lovely wedding at Larchfield Estate, and now it’s time to take you back to Larchfield again! When I realised that I would be photographing in the same venue twice in a row, my first thoughts and worries were for how I would make sure that the two sets of photos didn’t look the same. It turns out I didn’t need to worry, because Saturday’s celebrations couldn’t have been more different from the wedding the week before!
Roisin and Chris decided to go for a vintage theme to their wedding, from Roisin’s beautiful lace dress and MG wedding car, right through to the lace-draped room decor at the evening reception. They also added lots of fun touches, like personalised button badges as favours, and a cool photobooth for their friends and family to use. Unlike last week, the rain stayed away (a rarity this year!), so we were able to get outside for a drinks reception in the beautiful sun-drenched Larchfield gardens. There was a real party atmosphere about this wedding, and with the amount of laughter ringing around it was clear that everyone there had an absolute ball. I’m sure the party continued long after I left!
Thanks as always to Roisin and Chris for asking me to be a part of their wedding, and to Colin for being invaluable as my second shooter once again. My day started a bit later than usual, with the bridal party in the midst of their last-minute preparations, with the excitement building for the celebrations ahead. I hope you enjoy looking through some of the highlights from this unique and fun-filled wedding day!
