I love to get out and about with kids, taking family photographs in your favourite places. Using these locations means that each photoshoot is totally individual, and tells your family’s real story. Away from the artificial confines of a studio your children will feel free to be themselves, meaning we can get gorgeous, natural relaxed photos of them having fun. Photoshoots can take place in any location in Northern Ireland, for example a beach, woodland or park, maybe somewhere that is special to your family or somewhere where you spend a lot of time. I’m also happy to suggest locations if you can’t decide! If you would like a family photoshoot outside of Northern Ireland, then just contact me for a travel cost estimate.
The most important thing for me is that your children feel free to be themselves, so I welcome parents bringing along pets or favourite toys to make them feel at home. Maybe you’d like me to get some candid shots of a family picnic, trip to the zoo or walk in the park? It doesn’t need to be a special occasion, just a chance for you all to have fun together and get a beautiful set of photographs to cherish forever. Location and wardrobe changes are also encouraged to add variety to the photoshoot.
Baby Photography
For very young babies (under 2 weeks) I recommend booking a newborn photography session. For older babies who have not yet started to walk, photoshoots will usually take place in your home. 6-10 months is a particularly fun age to photograph, as your baby is really developing their own personality and starting to get around by themselves. Once a baby reaches around 1 year old, and approaches walking age, it’s great to get a mix of photos, both inside your home and out and about in your garden or another location. Family Photography
Whether you’d just like some photos of your children, or the whole family together, family photoshoots are a great chance to record precious moments in your family’s history. Teen & Adult Portrait Photography
I like to keep an eye on what’s hot in the world of fashion photography, and I try to incorporate little aspects of the current trends into my teenage and adult portraits. This means I can make your photographs fresh and modern, while still retaining that timeless quality that ensures they’ll look great for years to come. I want the photos we produce to truly reflect your personality, so I encourage clients to take me to their favourite place and to wear the clothes that say who they really are. Forced smiles and uncomfortable clothes are not a good look! Photoshoots with friends are a great way to celebrate a big birthday, leaving school, a new look or just because you fancy a fun day out and some gorgeous pictures.
